The supply chain organization was looking to not only get increased visibility to their emissions by category and supplier but also needed to mobilize their 500+ person category management team to embed sustainable sourcing practices into their action plans.
Solution
Leveraging the Net Zero Pathfinder solution, we estimated emissions by category and supplier, benchmarked their suppliers against sustainability KPIS like emissions intensity, near-term emissions reduction targets, and renewable energy usage to pinpoint opportunities to accelerate their suppliers’ path to net zero. We then deployed the Net Zero Pathfinder solution to category management teams to enable them to gather category-specific sustainable sourcing strategies.
